TRAVEL CONSULTATION  POLICY

I am an independent travel consultant working under MainStreet Travel Agency. I will earn commission on any trips or travel purchases made utilizing my services, however no additional charges will be incurred by the client. After an initial inquiry, I will complete the following for each client FREE of charge:

  • Initial travel consultation via phone or Google Meet

  • Review of the Client Consultation Questionnaire

  • Up to three (3) trip proposals

  • One personalized, specific itinerary for any booked trip

  • Up to three (3) complementary trip changes after booking

  • Continued trip monitoring during the duration of the trip

  • Post-trip follow-up to receive feedback and ensure client satisfaction

Each client will get a document stating the above to sign and date prior to booking a trip utilizing my services. This document will be kept in the client file.

CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION  POLICY

During the booking process, I will need to ask for and receive your credit card information for processing payments. When asking for credit card information, I will do so via Travefy, a platform that allows me to collect and store client credit care information in a PCI-compliant system. Platforms with the PCI-compliant designation have met the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) to ensure a secure environment for credit card information. Travefy allows me to securely collect and store credit cards and send authorization forms with electronic signatures. 

Prior to booking, each client will receive a specific credit card authorization form which will be stored in the client file utilizing Travefy.

REFUND  POLICY

Prior to booking or collecting payment, the client will receive a list of all trip specifics, including refund policies on applicable travel purchases. Most travel companies and locations have a refund policy in the current COVID-19 climate, but each differs in what is allowed and how refunds are completed. Clients will be notified and will be provided with a document for signature outlining refund policies, which will be kept in the client file.
